Kanye West certainly doesn’t do things by halves and Thursday night’s sell-out Madison Square Garden show was no exception.

Stars including Anna Wintour, Jay Z, Gigi Hadid and the entire Kardashian clan looked on as the rapper debuted his new album The Life of Pablo and presented Yeezy Season 3 in a mega extravaganza of all things Kanye.

Predictably, the New York event, which was streamed live on Tidal, featured controversial digs at fellow artists, bizarre computer game interludes and over 1000 models.

Here are the top five crazy moments from Thursday night’s show:

1. Taylor Swift diss

Despite burying the hatchet after his infamous stage invasion during her 2009 VMA win, West decided to make a rather crude dig at the princess of pop.

Causing a stir inside Madison Square Garden and on Twitter, West debuted brand new song Famous, which includes the lyrics: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. I made that b**ch famous.”

Swift’s pal Hadid has since claimed that she does not support the song, which the pop star’s rep has dubbed ‘misogynistic.’

2. Lamar Odom is back

The former NBA star, who spent much of 2015 in hospital following a collapse at a Nevada brothel, made his return to public life at the event.

Joined by wife Khloe Kardashian, the sportsman seemed in good spirits as he gave Kylie and Kendall Jenner a hug and sat in prime position with his former in-laws.

3. Video game featuring late mother Donda

Not satisfied with being a high-end fashion designer and the ‘greatest rock star of all time’, West has also turned his hand to the world of gaming.

During the show, the star debuted a video game titled Only One: The Game, which featured his late mother Donda West ascending into the heavens while riding Pegasus.

“I worked on a video game and I wanted to show y’all. The idea of the game is, my mom traveling through the gates of heaven,” he told the crowd.

4. Naomi Campbell leads army of models

While most designers feature just a few models in their runway shows, it seems that West has produced enough new togs to clothe an entire army,

Lead by Naomi Campbell, more than 1000 models filled Madison Square Garden wearing West’s designs.

While it may have been an impressive spectacle, some complained that they weren’t able to see any of the actual details of the pieces while other onlookers claimed that many of the models became so tired during the show that they had to sit down.

5. West reveals his ultimate ‘dream’

The man might not have a whole lot of time on his hands, but it seemed keen to share plans for his next ambitious move while on stage.

“I told this to Anna [Wintour] backstage, my dream is to be the creative director of Hermès,” he said.

The fashion world better watch its back.
