Kanye West appears to be having trouble deciding whether or not his shoes are too small or too big.

The US rapper has found himself at the centre of another footwear furore after tweeting pictures of himself wearing giant slippers.

The Yeezy designs were compared to hovercrafts while others joked that his latest fashion offering looked as though it had had an allergic reaction to a bee sting.

One fan joked he is “bringing cartoon outfits to life” while another simply urged him to “go to bed”.

Others compared the footwear to Mickey Mouse’s feet and those of the Smurfs, with another tweeting: “Why would someone wear a Hovercraft on both feet?”

One said his designs are “getting out of hand now” while others put random household objects on their feet from dustbins to laptop covers.

It comes days after he was ridiculed online for wearing shoes that were too small to rapper 2 Chainz' wedding with many joking that he had accidentally picked up son Saint's in a rush, while others compared his socks and sliders look to hospital attire.

He was later compared to Cinderella after finding a pair of proper fitting sliders as he relaxed on “vacay” with his wife Kim Kardashian.

West mocked himself by tweeting a picture of himself in giant versions of his Nylon Slippers alongside the caption: “Are the slides big enough?”

West's post came hours after he finally apologised for his controversial comments about slavery, saying that he is “sorry for the people that felt let down.”

He was heavily criticised earlier this year after he said that hundreds of years of slavery in the US “sounds like a choice” during an interview with TMZ.

Speaking on 107.5 WGCI Chicago he said: “What I want say to everyone listening right now - I have never really approached or addressed the slavery comment fully. And it’s not something for me to overly intellectualise.

“This is something about the fact that it hurt people’s feelings and the way that I presented that piece of information. I could present in a way more calm way, but I was ramped up. And I apologise.

“That happens sometimes when people are—I’m not blaming mental health, but I’m explaining mental health.”
