Justin Timberlake has thrown his support behind England as they head into the semi-final of the FIFA World Cup 2018.

England are gearing up to play Croatia on Wednesday night (live on ITV, just FYI) and Timberlake, who describes himself as an “honorary Brit” was sure to pledge his support for the Three Lions during his concert on Monday night.

A video posted by The O2 shows Timberlake talking to the crowd, shouting the famous “it’s coming home” before cheering on skipper Harry Kane.

The London-based venue captioned the minute-long clip: “Yes it is Justin. YES IT IS. #ITSCOMINGHOME #WorldCup #ThreeLions @jtimberlake @HKane @HarryMaguire93 @england.”

World Cup anthem Three Lions, released by comedians Frank Skinner and David Baddiel with The Lightning Seeds in 1996, has leapt up the charts as support for Gareth Southgate’s men swells.

Timberlake, who is currently on the European leg on his tour, concluded his show by saying: “Seriously, we love you and we love being here!”

The Man of the Woods artist has also been taking in the sights while chilling out in London as he posted a video of himself rocking out by Tower Bridge.

Timberlake was jamming to his own song Soul Mate and he made his way down the River Thames.

The 37-year-old will also play at the famous venue tomorrow night, the same day as the big match, with ticket-holding fans hoping to be able to follow the action.

Croatia v England in semi-final two of the World Cup takes place Wednesday 11 July, kick-off 7pm BST.
