A comedian has used a Justin Bieber analogy to explain why not all Muslims are Isis militants.

Susan Kent from This Hour Has 22 Minutes used the skit to show how saying all Muslims support Isis is the same as saying all Canadians act like Justin Bieber.

Explaining how her fellow Canadians had started to attack "fellow Canadians just for being Muslim" she said: “Dear a**holes. We all hate Isis - they're monsters. But do you know who else hates them? Muslims.”

Kent stated that there are an estimated 30,000 Isis fighters and 1.6billion Muslims and joked: “That’s the same proportion of Justin Bieber to all other Canadians.”

In an attempt to prove the non-relationship between Isis supporters and Muslims she said: “Does that mean all Canadians throw tantrums while wearing expensive tights and giant T-shirts?

“Attacking a whole group because someone in that group did something bad is always a dumb idea, whether it's attacking Muslims for Isis, Catholics for creepy priests or the entire Star Wars franchise for Jar Jar Binks.”

She finished: "If you really want to fight terrorism, mesa tell you what to do - stop terrorising people."
