Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis’ son has reportedly been battling “serious health issues”.

Sixteen-year-old Jack’s health came to light after Paradis was forced to skip the premiere of her film in Paris on Wednesday night.

Paradis, who was with Depp from 1998 to 2012, had to bow out of the premiere for A Knife In The Heart at the last minute.

Director Yann Gonzalez explained the French actress’ absence, saying her son is unwell.

He said: “Unfortunately, Vanessa Paradis was not able to join us tonight, she had to be absent because of her son's serious health problems.”

The couple, who were never married, are also parents to 19-year-old Lily Rose Depp.

Depp later went on to marry actress Amber Heard in 2012, however, the pair split in 2017.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor opened up for the first time in a candid Rolling Stones interview on the impact of the divorce admitting he “couldn’t take the pain every day.”

The Hollywood sensation told how he struggled to manage as stories emerged following the split, his mother’s death and his involvement with multiple lawsuits.

Speaking to the publication he said: "I was as low as I believe I could have gotten.

“The next step was, ‘You’re going to arrive somewhere with your eyes open and you’re going to leave there with your eyes closed’. I couldn’t take the pain every day.”

He added that as a way of expression he started writing a memoir to pour out his feelings.
