Jennifer Lawrence lead the rebellion against President Snow – but the actress found herself battling with mother nature at the Los Angeles premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.

Lawrence, 25, struggled to take selfies and sign autographs for fans as she was caught up in a large gust of wind outside the Microsoft Theater.

But despite the troublesome winds, the actress looked stunning in a white gown with sheer panelling which she finished with red lips and teamed with an oversized cream coat.

She pinned Mockingjay ribbons adorned with the colours of the French flag to her coat as a show of support following the Paris terror attacks.

She was joined by her co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth – who also wore ribbons – at the event which had been scaled back as a mark of respect.

A scheduled two hour interview period was cancelled and the cast did not speak to press.

Film studio Lionsgate released a statement ahead of the event, which read: “Out of respect for the very recent events in Paris, we have decided to modify our red carpet and we will not conduct interviews at Monday’s Mockingjay 2 premiere.

“We will proceed with the rest of the event as planned in honour of the incredible fans who have always supported our films with such passion."

Also in attendance was Donald Sutherland - who plays President Coriolanus Snow, the leader of Panem - and Cressida actress Natalie Dormer who made sure to steal the attention of photographers in a showstopping grey gown.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 is in cinemas now.
