Wands out, feet up, laptop on. It’s the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald premiere and you can watch it live.

If you weren’t lucky enough to secure a ticket to the star-spangled London bash, you don’t have to miss out on the magic. The live stream will be available to watch on Standard Online from 6:30pm.

Eddie Redmayne and Jude Law as well as author JK Rowling are set to walk the red carpet in Leicester Square to talk all things Fantastic Beasts with adoring fans.

The film, which is the second in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, sees Redmayne’s Newt Scamander team up Law’s Albus Dumbledore to take on Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald, played by Johnny Depp.

Grindelwald was captured at the end of the first film by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America) and put behind bars. With his final words, he vowed to escape.

Making good on that threat, the evil wizard is on the loose and building a legion of followers to raise a pure-blood revolution over all non-magical beings.

Dumbledore, wise to his plan, enlists the help of Newt to thwart his attempts, but his former student isn’t aware of the dangers that are waiting for him in the battle in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

A teaser trailer hinted at Scamander’s uncertain future as he was handed keys to a safe house at the start of his mission, suggesting that he has to “pick sides”.

Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Claudia Kim, Dan Fogler and Zoe Kravitz also star in the new film.

Watch the live stream of the premiere from 6.30pm on Standard Online. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will be released in cinemas on November 16.
