Holly Willoughby has made the decision to step down from her lifestyle brand just weeks before it was due to launch.

The This Morning host informed fans of her plans to quit new brand Truly ahead of its autumn launch as all of her commitments were starting to affect “family time”.

"After much consideration, I have made the decision to step away from Truly. The actor has denied all allegations,” she wrote on Instagram.

“To launch a brand needs total dedication and at the moment, with so many other commitments, this is not something I feel I can do without it starting to affect my family time at home.”

She added: “I wish Truly all the success for the future.”

Willoughby told of her excitement at being part of the new brand just a few weeks ago, saying that she’d just finished shooting the first range.

“Couldn’t wait to share this with you... I’ve just finished shooting the truly range in the most beautiful location with the most wonderful team,” she wrote last month.

“Everything is coming to you really soon ... #Truly www.truly.co.uk Click on the link in my bio to become part of our Truly family.”

The Truly brand, which still features a photo of Willoughby on its website, was reportedly set to rival Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop brand.

As well as hosting morning magazine show This Morning during the week, Willoughby has recently been announced as Ant McPartlin’s replacement on this year’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

She recently revealed that she would be taking children Harry, nine, Belle, seven, and Chester, three, out of school to join her in Australia for filming.
