Holly Willoughby has vowed never to present This Morning while hungover again.

Willoughby and her co-star Phillip Schofield famously fronted the ITV morning show wearing clothes from the night before after partying at the National Television Awards in 2016.

After this year’s awards bash she climbed into bed with Schofield who nearly vomited after watching Willoughby tuck in to a cheese toasty.

But Willoughby has said they will “never repeat” their drunken antics on national TV, saying she has no idea how they got away with it.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain she said: “You only get away with doing that once and we did it once and it will never get repeated again. I don’t know how I got away with it.”

Piers Morgan replied: “Well the two most squeaky clean people on television turn up absolutely off their heads. I’ve got to say it’s very entertaining television.

“Have you not been encouraged to get wasted again and go on air?”

Willoughby, who was on the show to promote the upcoming This Morning Live, replied: “No I haven’t Piers, I have not.”

She also spoke about the cheeky innuendos that often leave her and Schofield in hysterics, insisting they are not scripted.

“Our double entendres aren’t planned,” she said. “I’m not a funny boned person. It’s impossible to talk about melons and not make a joke.”

In 2015 Willoughby and Schofield famously went straight from an NTAs after-party at Ant McPartlin’s house to the This Morning studio.

The pair kicked off the show wearing their clothes from the night before while feigning sleep on the sofas.

This year they ‘failed’ to turn up to work on time with an error message appearing on screen before the much-loved duo burst into the studio.

Schofield joked his voice had dropped an octave from partying, while Willoughby tucked into Phil Vickery’s cooking to cure her hangover.
