George Michael’s boyfriend Fadi Fawaz has hit out on Twitter following the late star’s autopsy, saying that the ‘truth is out’.

Following confirmation that the Wham! singer died of natural causes at his London home and that there will not be an inquest, Fawaz wrote: “F*** you.”

The pop star’s other half, who found the singer dead in his Goring-on-Thames home, claims he has been bombarded with abuse for two months.

He added: “All the nasty comments, press and 999 were very cruel and unnecessary whatsoever, Now I hope to receive some real LOVE x.”

On Tuesday, a coroner confirmed that the singer had had dilated cardiomyopathy, a condition in which the heart's ability to pump blood is decreased.

He was also suffering myocarditis, inflammation of the heart muscle, and had a fatty liver.

Oxfordshire's senior coroner Darren Salter said in a statement: "Inquires into the death of George Michael have been concluded and the final post mortem report received.

Thames Valley Police said an initial post-mortem in December proved inconclusive and further tests would be required.

The Wham! star's death was unexplained but not suspicious, police said.

Michael’s friend and ex-partner Kenny Goss had previously said that the star’s body had simply ‘given up’.

“I can't say for sure but I think his body just gave up,” he said last week. "All these years, it was just weak."
