Eminem has shut down speculation that he dissed Drake on new album Kamikaze.

The 45-year-old rapper, real name Marshall Mathers, has clarified a slew of rumours off the back the album, which he dropped last month.

Opening up to Sway Calloway, he said: “Drake is going to always be in my good graces, because he did something for one of my daughters that I will never forget and he will always be in my graces for that.

“And I like Drake. What I’m telling you with these lines is, I don’t know what’s real and what’s not, at this point.

“Because you hear s*** about this rapper, that rapper, whatever. I’m telling you that I don’t do it. Never have and never will. If I ever need a ghostwriter, I need to just f****** put the mic down.”

He added: “[Drake] makes great music. It’s not really anything you can say about it”.

Eminem’s response comes after it was reported that he hit out at the God’s Plan hit-maker by referencing ghost writers.

On savage track Fall, Eminem raps: “You got some views but you’re still below me.

“Mine are higher so when you compare our views you get overlooked and I don’t say a hook unless I wrote the hook.”

He rapped: “Tyler create nothing, I see why you called yourself a f***** b****. It’s not just ‘cause you lack attention.

“It’s because you worship D12’s balls, you’re sacrilegious. If you’re gonna critique me, you better at least be as good or better.”

In an interview with Calloway, the 45-year-old said: “I think the word that I called him on that song was one of the things where I felt like this might be too far.

“Because in my quest to hurt him, I realise that I was hurting a lot of other people by saying it.

“It was one of the things that I kept going back to and going ‘I don’t feel right with this.’”
