Dizzee Rascal hit out at Richard Branson’s son after he posted an insensitive joke about President Obama in the wake of the US Presidential election, according to reports.

Following Donald Trump’s victory over Republican candidate Hillary Clinton, the Daily Mail reported that Sam Branson shared a Photoshopped image of Trump sitting behind the Oval Office desk in the White House.

It featured the slogan: “First time in history that a billionaire moves into public housing vacated by a black family.”

Rascal reportedly rapped him for the post and commented: “Mate, I’ve known you a long time and I know you mean well but this looks a bit nuts coming from you.”

Branson is said to have deleted the post immediately.

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger mocked Trump in the wake of his victory by joking that he could sing one of his hits at the businessman's inauguration next year.

Reacting to the news that Trump played Jagger's hit, You Can't Always Get What You Want, he tweeted: “Just was watching the news... maybe they'll ask me to sing 'You Can't Always Get What You Want' at the inauguration, ha!!”

Trump defied the odds to become President after a lengthy campaign trail.

He will begin his tenure as President, with Mike Pence as his Vice, after his inauguration in January.
