Danny Dyer’s daughter has spoken out to defend her father after he had a run-in with Mark Wright’s friends at V Festival.

Claiming that five of Wright’s friends confronted the EastEnders star in the VIP area in Chelmsford, Dani Dyer, 20, wrote on Twitter:

“The only comment I’m even gonna say is my dad is the strongest person I know he isn’t a fighter just because he plays good acting rolls as a hard man does not mean he is that in real life (sic).

“I admit I was shouting that Mark Wright is a c***. Because his silly mates thought it was okay to barge past my dad knowing he was drunk, my heart id broken as I witnessed the whole thing.

“My dad is such a sensitive loving person who wouldn’t want to hurt a fly. 5 on 1 is never fair.”

She added: “But I love you papa and seeing that just proved how I would have wished to have smacked them in the mouth. Love you.”

The actor, who was left with a black eye after the scuffle then tweeted from his account to say:

“No daughter should have 2 see their old man being toe punted in the nut by 5 complete p*****. I'm sweet Bae.”

Former TOWIE star Wright has since spoken out to say that he was not involved in the physical altercation at the festival.

He wrote on Twitter: “Seen some stories online today about v festival. I would like to confirm that I personally wasn't involved in any physical confrontation.”

Dyer then replied to him to say: “No.True. Where was ya?? Do you wanna declare who ya snakey 2 Bob mates are?? Especially the 1 squaring up to my Dani.”

Posting a picture of Wright with his friend, he added: “Friends eh. How to ruin ya pals career before it had even started. Legends. Other than that I had a proper night. X.”

Dyer and Wright reignited their feud last week after Dyer claimed he was attacked by Wright at a charity football match.

This came after Dyer made a dig at Mark’s DJing and yoghurt adverts on Twitter, which sparked a row with the reality TV star’s brother Joshua.
