Christine Lampard has said she had a premonition about the 9/11 terror attacks days before the tragedy occurred.

The chat show star discussed the moment she dreamt about a plane crash in a conversation about destiny on Loose Women on Wednesday.

She explained: “I had a dream about 9/11. I woke up after it in such a state and I told my mum.

“And I was in work the day it happened and I thought, I saw that.

“I was in the plane within the dream. I knew there was chaos.

“I could see the cockpit and I could see hundreds of windows.

“It happened days before it happened.”

Viewers took to Twitter to comment on Mrs Lampard’s dream.

One person dismissed her claims as “ridiculous”.

Mrs Lampard acknowledged that some people may not believe her story.

She said: “I am a common sense person. I am willing for someone to explain it.

“I’m not claiming anything. There probably was something that sparked it but it shook me up for days afterwards.”

She was joined on the show with Coronation Street's Brooke Vincent and EastEnders star Lisa Faulkner, Linda Robson, Anne Diamond and Saira Khan.

Nearly 3,000 people died in the attack on the Twin Towers in New York on September 11 2001.
