Cheryl breaks silence on Michael B Jordan romance rumours: ‘Nothing’s happening… yet’

Cheryl has broken her silence on reports she is dating US star Michael B Jordan.

The Love Made Me Do It singer, 35, sent the rumour mill into overdrive last week after fans claimed to notice “sexual tension” between Cheryl and Jordan on The Graham Norton Show.

Capital Breakfast presenter Vick Hope grilled Cheryl on the rumours at the Jingle Bell Ball as she joked she tried to slide into Jordan’s DMs last year.

Hope said: “Ok, promise me nothing’s happening because otherwise I’m going to get quite upset.”

Cheryl replied: “I promise you nothing’s happening. That’s a pinkie promise…yet.”

Fans were convinced that there was something going on between Cheryl and Jordan after she appeared flustered after Jordan interrupted her mid-sentence as she opened up about her musical comeback on Norton’s show.

He then joked: “What happened? What did I miss?”

One viewer wrote: “#grahamnortonshow oh wow. Look at the way Michael b Jordan and Cheryl are looking at other.... seen it here first.”

Another tweeted: “Well, Cheryl and Michael B.Jordan make a rather beaut couple don’t they? Definitely a bit of sexual tension there #grahamnortonshow.”

Others have been pushing for Cheryl, who this year split from Liam Payne, to go on a date with Gethin Jones after he posted a picture of them together.

But Cheryl recently claimed that she was “done with men” after several failed relationships, saying she only has room for son Bear in her life.
