Tatum delighted fans by taking time to shake hands and pose for pictures at the launch event earlier..

Fans could barely contain their glee after learning the smash-hit show was due to come to the UK's shores.

Danie-Jade, said on Twitter: “Channing on BGT Final tonight just shows that dreams do come true...Magic Mike in London is gonna sell out quicker than One Direction tickets back in 2012.”

Courtney Parker added: “Thank you Channing Tatum for bringing Magic Mike to London. Can’t wait to see the show in November.”

Sabrina Cesaratto, 25, tweeted: “This announcement of magic mike live coming to London is too much for my self respect and dignity to stay intact.”

It came hours after the actor, 38, thrilled fans with a cameo appearance at the live final of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, filmed at Hammersmith Apollo.

The actor sent fans into a meltdown making a shock appearance on the show despite teasing his fans earlier that he wouldn't be able to make it.

One person said: "OMG Channing Tatum is just beautiful! (Picking my jaw up off the floor as we speak)"

Another fan said: "That Magic Mike performance was something but seeing Channing Tatum appear at the end there was the highlight. What a treat."

He was there to announce the West End-run of the hugely successful Las Vegas show Magic Mike Live, which opens at the Hippodrome Casino in Leicester Square in November.

The production is a spin-off of the Magic Mike films starring Tatum, which are based on the actor’s experience of working as a stripper in Florida when he was 18.

About 15,000 London tickets worth about £1 million were sold within an hour of going on sale last night.
