Some of the biggest stars in music were out in force in London for the BRIT Awards 2016.

The annual music ceremony celebrates the best of British and international music, attracting chart-topping legends and vibrant new talents.

Four-piece pop group Little Mix pulled out all the stops – hitting the red carpet with their mothers in tow.

Adele wore a stunning burgundy dress to the awards, where she’s been nominated for four awards – Best British Female Solo Artist, MasterCard British Album of the Year, British Single of the Year, and British Video.

Rihanna, who was at the awards to perform latest single Work, wore a slinky purple dress by Asprey.

One Direction stars Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne showed up together, months after the boyband went on a hiatus.

Newcomer Jack Garratt, who has already received the Critics’ Choice Award ahead of the event, walked the red carpet in a green Casely-Hayford suit, while James Bay – now appearing at his second BRITs – donned a Burberry suit and his trademark hat.

Speaking to presenters George Shelley and Lilah Parsons, Bay hinted that he might retire the hat in the future.

“I keep a trademark for the time being, but it’ll change,” he said.

Also walking the red carpet were Foals, nominated for Best British Group, Craig David, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, and Florence Welch.
