Beyoncé has become the first female star to have 12 songs in the Top 100 Billboard Chart at the same time.

The pop superstar has done one better than fellow singer Taylor Swift, who previously held the record with 11 songs in the chart.

Following the release of her much-talked about visual album Lemonade last weekend, the queen of pop has dominated the charts in the US and in the UK.

According to Billboard, all of the tracks from the new record are currently in the Top 100, with four of them in the top 20.

Formation is the highest-charting song at number 10, followed by Sorry at number 11 and Hold Up at number 13.

Beyoncé’s sixth studio album has topped album charts all over the world and was sitting at the top of iTunes just hours after its release.

Over in the UK, Lemonade went straight in at number one on Friday, racking up 73,000 chart sales in under a week.

This means that Lemonade is now the second-fastest selling album of the year so far, just behind David Bowie’s Blackstar.

Lemonade was released exclusively on Tidal before it was made available to purchase on iTunes and in-store.
