Beyoncé and Jay-Z made sure fans didn’t miss out on their country storming to glory in the World Cup as they screened the final right before their concert.

The A-List couple were due to perform their second concert at Paris’ Stade de France on Sunday night but gig-goers were a little preoccupied by France’s grand final v Croatia.

Huge monitors were erected in the stadium to show the game, with France winning 4-2 to become world champions for the second time.

And photos and videos posted from the event showed everyone having a great time – with Queen Bey and her hubby even wearing France shirts – emblazoned with the second star - when they came out to perform.

Sharing a clip on Twitter, one fan wrote: “Watching France win the World Cup inside the Stade de France before Beyoncé and Jay Z is something I will never ever forget.”

Beyoncé herself also shared memories of the moment, captioning the first of a series of Instagram uploads with: “FIFA World Cup with one of the best audiences so far!”

In one post, the Lemonade singer captured the crowd as France scored while another showed the size of the stadium while waving a French flag.

The On The Run II superstars weren’t the only ones to incorporate a World Cup crunch match within their tours this month as Justin Timberlake screened England’s semi-final in London .

Timberlake ensured fans didn’t miss a minute of England’s game against Croatia before taking to the stage at The O2.
