Ben Affleck rep says rumours linking actor to Suicide Squad co-star Margot Robbie are 'simply not true'
A rep for Ben Affleck has been forced to deny rumours suggesting that the actor has feelings for his Suicide Squad co-star Margot Robbie.
Woman’s Day magazine reported that Affleck had “developed serious feelings” for the 25-year-old actress and a source falsely told the publication: “Ben has had the hots for Margot ever since he saw her in The Wolf Of Wall Street.”
But a representative for the actor told the Daily Mail that the story is “simply not true” and that the Gone Girl star has “barely spent anytime with Margot” while filming in Toronto, Canada.
The rumours come just days after the news that Affleck and Jennifer Garner are to divorce after 10 years of marriage.
The A-list couple announced the news in a joint statement which read: "After much thought and careful consideration we have made the difficult decision to divorce.
"We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time.
"This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding."
After the news went public the couple took their three children Violet, nine, Seraphina, six, and Samuel, three to the Bahamas to escape the media spotlight.
