Bella Hadid ran into her ex-boyfriend The Weeknd on the Victoria’s Secret catwalk.

The supermodel, who recently split from the chart-topping pop star, kept her cool as she strutted past him during Wednesday’s night show in Paris.

While the 20-year-old flashed him a little smile as she walked, the Canadian singer clearly couldn’t keep his eyes off his former girlfriend.

Speaking ahead of the lingerie extravaganza, Hadid insisted that there would be no awkwardness with the singer – real name Abel Tesfaye.

“This is his second year performing, and I think he's going to kill it. There is no awkwardness. He is my best friend, and I am excited because I am walking during his performance,” she told E! News.

According to reports, the pair are still on good terms despite ending their relationship back in October.

“Bella and The Weeknd have been talking again. The Weeknd sent Bella something special to her room to wish her luck on her big day. He also spoke and texted her today and throughout these past few days in Paris,” a source told the publication.

“They are on great terms - not back together but still talking and are still in love with each other. They are looking forward to doing the show together.”

The pair split up a few weeks ago after 18 months together, blaming their various work commitments.
