Holly Willoughby managed to sneak backstage to meet pop star Mike Skinner after partying at The Streets’ comeback gig with Nicole Appleton.

The This morning presenter partied backstage with the singer and her best friend following the band’s performance in Brixton on Thursday night.

Willoughby posed with the pair for an Instagram snap following the gig, wearing a T-shirt with the slogan “good girls go to heaven, bad girls go backstage”.

She later posted a selfie of her and Appleton together at the side of the stage, under the caption: “I mean.. all my favs in one pic... @mikeskinnerltd.”

The pair enjoyed a night out together the week before as they attended the English National Opera gala.

Willoughby had had a tough day in the office earlier on Thursday after being left shocked by a discussion about vibrators.

Kicking off Thursday’s show, Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were joined by a relationship expert to debate a recent idea from one woman that teenage girls should be given a vibrator to help “tackle the pleasure gap between men and women”.

And Willoughby struggled to contain her shock as she recoiled when asked by social worker Judi Love if she could “imagine” the thought of her daughter using a vibrator in the house.

“Well no, that’s quite a horrific picture,” Willoughby replied looking to move to conversation on.

Viewers of the magazine show were left uneasy by the discussion and pointed out that it was too “early in the morning” to be discussing female masturbation, even to break the taboo.
