Armie Hammer nearly missed the Oscars after being hooked up to a drip just hours before the ceremony.

The Call Me By Your Name star posted a photo of himself with an I.V line attached after a reportedly strong bout of flu.

On Sunday, Hammer shared a snap showing him laid out on the sofa with a yellow liquid hooked up beside him.

He captioned: “Oscar prep has taken a strange turn.... thank you @elizabethchambers for taking such good care of me.”

Illness forced Hammer to miss the 2018 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, although he did make an appearance via FaceTime on Timothée Chalamet’s phone.

Bedbound, Hammer wrote: “I may be too sick to be at the Indie Spirit Awards, but thanks to @elizabethchambers I am toasting you guys with pedialyte and chicken soup! Go get em guys!”

Hammer married Chambers in 2010 after meeting via a friend and the pair have two children.

The 31-year-old did attend the Los Angeles bash and soon got in on the action at the star-studded affair as he fired a hot dog cannon given to him by host Jimmy Kimmel.

Gary Oldman and Frances McDormand were the big winners at the 90th annual Academy Awards, while The Shape of Water was named Best Picture.

Guillermo Del Toro picked up the coveted Best Director award for the award-winning film.
