Ariana Grande has announced that she will be releasing her version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow to raise more funds for the victims of the Manchester terror attack.

The 23-year-old pop star closed the One Love Manchester benefit concert with an emotional rendition of Judy Garland’s 1939 classic on Sunday.

Although £10 million has already been raised for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund, Grande is keen to add to the total with the release of another single.

“Ariana’s team are working out behind the scenes what is necessary for the song to be released,” a source told The Sun.

“But everyone’s confident there won’t be anything stopping it getting out there and continuing to help those affected by the tragedy.”

Sunday’s concert, which included performances by Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and Justin Bieber, raised more than £2 million alone for the fund.

Proceeds from Grande’s re-release of single One Last Time, which has already shot up the iTunes chart this week, will also go to the fund.

The pop star honoured the victims and survivors of the May 22 terror attacks on stage during Sunday’s concert, saying: “Thank you for coming together and being so loving and strong. The love that we have here is the medicine that we need right now.”

Grande and her team of backing dancers are all thought to have been inked with tribute Manchester bee tattoos following the show.
