Last week Grande embarked on the start of her Sweetener world tour, named after her 2018 album.

The opening New York show made headlines after she appeared to start with a tribute to her late rapper ex-boyfriend Mac Miller with a song of his playing out across the Times Union Center, before she took to the stage.

The start of the tour comes after a tumultuous year for Grande following her split from fiancé Pete Davidson and Miller’s death.
