Liam Gallagher is the latest star to take part in Vogue’s 73 Questions video series, taking the magazine on a walk around Hampstead Heath.

Dressed in his trademark parka (as the former Oasis singer puts it, his personal style “hasn’t evolved, it’s still the same, keeping it real”) Gallagher does his best to answer a string of quick fire questions.

The resulting video touches on everything from his beloved Manchester City football club to his surprising pre-show penchant for apple cider vinegar.

According to Vogue, the clip was filmed in one shot, with no rehearsals, sound checks or sneak peeks at the questions beforehand.

As with any Gallagher interview, there are plenty of memorable soundbites (though the magazine’s closed captioning system sometimes struggles with his Mancunian accent) - here are some of the best...

1. Liam no longer owns 2,000 tambourines

When faced with an old quote about owning "2,000 tambourines," Gallagher looks baffled, asking "Did I say that?" before clearing things up once and for all: he can no longer lay claim to so many because "I tend to give them away and that, to the beautiful people."

2. Dec should play Noel Gallagher in an Oasis biopic

It wouldn’t be a Gallagher interview without a swipe at his brother, and the singer doesn’t disappoint in the Vogue clip, claiming that Noel would be best personified by Declan ‘Dec’ McPartlin - or, as he puts it, “the little fella of Ant and Dec” - if their story was made into a film.

3. Hair of the dog is his best hangover cure

"Straight back to the pub, no messing about," he advises. "Don't sit and dwell about it on hangovers, just go straight back again and it'll work itself out."

4. 5. Farmers markets are "good for the soul"...

But skinny jeans are "terrible," according to Gallagher's answers in a final round of word association. Rock and roll indeed...

5. His only regret? Saying "Mad for it" too much

Of all of Gallagher's outlandish quotes, it seems his go-to catchphrase - which he reckons he has said "about nine million times" - is his surprising regret.

6. His top five Oasis songs? Only four spring to mind

The four tracks in question are Live Forever (which Gallagher later name checks as the song he'd choose to sing for the rest of his life), Supersonic, Cast No Shadow and - after an extended pause - Wonderwall.

7. Even Liam isn't immune to the pain of a stubbed toe

The video sees the singer admit that he last cried "the other day." Why? "I stubbed me toe on a coffee table."
