Bradley Walsh has introduced his handsome son to his followers on his new Instagram account.

Sharing a photo of himself and 20-year-old Barney on the red carpet at the National Television Awards, Walsh wrote: “Sorry for late post gang (think that’s what it’s called) but at last I’ve finally come round...

“Here’s me and @barneycpwalsh last night in the calm before the storm. Oh and by the way if anyone has any tips for me on how to Instagram properly, please feel free cos I ain’t got a clue! Also I’m missing a shoe!”

Thousands of fans had soon liked and commented on the picture with many pointing out the likeness between father and son, which came just a day after his debut on the social site.

Several fans called the pair “handsome peas in a pod” while assuring Walsh that he was doing just fine with his new social media page.

The gameshow host joined Instagram on the evening of the NTAs, using his first post to share a snap of him hungover the morning after partying with Daytime Show winners Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

The soon-to-be Doctor Who companion even got up on stage during This Morning’s award and stood unnoticed for some time at the back, before being called out for crashing.
