Whipsnade Wild Animal Park - This is where you can find the elephants now they have been moved from London Zoo. Do not miss an introduction to the sealions at 12.30pm and the penguin panorama at 2.30pm.
Details: Open daily from 10am to 5pm, the park in Dunstable, Bedfordshire is 20 minutes from the M25 (junction 21) and is signposted from the M1 (junctions 9 and 12). London Zoo - New star attractions include Jock the gorilla. Daily events include discovering reptiles at 11.30am and the gorillas at 1pm, feeding the pelicans at 1.30pm, craft activities from 1.30pm-3.30pm and feeding the fish at 2.30pm.
