Stuart Broad is set to have a scan on his heel
5 November 2012

England vice-captain Stuart Broad will undergo a scan on a left heel injury he suffered on Sunday.

Broad, who was captaining the team in the tour match against Mumbai A in the absence of Alastair Cook, sustained the problem late on in the day, and adds to England's concerns with bowler Steven Finn nursing a thigh strain.

A statement from the England and Wales Cricket Board read: "Stuart felt discomfort late on in today's play and has gone for a scan."
