Donald Trump called Hillary Clinton “a nasty woman” as she landed a blow at her opponent over his tax avoidance during the final presidential debate.

The Republican presidential hopeful reacted bitterly to a joke Mrs Clinton made when she was responding to a question about entitlement reform.

“My social security contribution will go up, as will Donald’s – assuming he can’t find a way to get out of it,” she said.

In a repeated of the bitter tone of the first two debates, Mr Trump leaned into the microphone and interjected: “Such a nasty woman.”
