Russia is warming up for the World Cup with a contest to vote for the host country’s hottest WAGs (wives and girlfriends).

Inna Zhirkova, 28, wife of ex-Chelsea left-back Yuri Zhirkov, is topping the poll run by Spletnik online magazine, also known as Russian Tatler.

“The World Cup is coming any minute now, and our team will be supported not just by every Russian fan, but also by the players’ second halves,” said the outlet. “Our rating is dedicated to the hottest wives of the main squad of Team Russia.

“They are all slender, attractive, hot and damn sexy. But only one of them will get top position, and you are the one to decide it!”

Currently in second place is Ekaterina Gerun, 31, wife of veteran goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev.

Third is Olga Berezutskaya, 32, wife of CSKA defender Vasily Berezutski.
