Jane Fonda has received her Covid-19 vaccine.
The two-time Academy Award-winning actress, 83, uploaded a picture on Instagram, showing her sat in what appeared to be a car getting her jab.
She wrote: “Got vaccinated today! Yay! It doesn’t hurt.”
The star wore a face covering and large sunglasses for the appointment. She held up her thumb as the medic injected her with the vaccine.
The activist and actor joins a growing list of stars who have got the vaccine - including Sir David Attenborough, Sir Tony Robinson, Sir Ian McKellen, Prue Leith, Angela Rippon and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Last week, it was confirmed that Fonda would receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the 2021 Golden Globes at the end of the month.
The award, which honors outstanding contributions to showbusiness, has previously been awarded to the likes of Jane’s father Henry Fonda, Oprah Winfrey and most recently, Tom Hanks.
Most recently, Fonda has starred in show Grace And Frankie opposite Lily Tomlin for six years running.
She made her debut in 1960’s Tall Story.
In the seventies, she won the Best Leading Actress Oscar twice - first for 1971’s Klute, where she portrayed a New York City call girl.
Her next Oscar came in 1978, for the war film Coming Home opposite Jon Voight.
She also famously starred in2005 Jennifer Lopez film Monster In Law.
