Rapper 50 Cent has endorsed Donald Trump in the US election because of his tax policies favouring the rich.

He backed the president’s bid to regain the White House despite believing the Republican “doesn’t like black people.”

The 45-year-old tweeted an image of an analysis of tax policies of Trump’s presidential rival Joe Biden.

It claims people earning over $400,000 in New York and California could face combined federal and state tax rates of 62% under Biden’s tax plan.

The In da Club star wrote the caption: “WHAT THE F**K! (VOTE ForTRUMP) IM OUT, F**K NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya f**king mind.”

@50cent

It is not the first time 50 Cent has backed Trump - appearing to show his support for the Republican before the 2016 election.

In March 2016 he posted a photograph of the two of them together, with the caption: ‘Me and My President maybe, only in America.”

“50 Cent endorsing Trump for president is probably the least surprising news of 2020,” one person wrote on Twitter.

Another person called him “self-interested”, adding: “He does not care that Joe Biden’s tax plan benefits all Americans making under $400,000 a year, which is about 95 per cent of the population.
