Teenager killed in crash

12 April 2012

A 14-year-old boy was killed after the car he was travelling in veered off the road into a tree early on Monday morning, police said.

Police, fire and ambulance services were called to Marlborough Street, Eaglestone, in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, at 7.51am after the driver of a grey Ford Escort lost control.

Two people were cut out of the car by firefighters and were taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital where they will remain overnight.

The front seat passenger, a 14-year-old boy from Milton Keynes, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The V8 Marlborough Street was closed in both directions for around four hours and was re-opened at 12pm.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or may have seen the car before the crash is asked to contact Thames Valley WPC Barbara Goosey on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
