Grime artist Stomzy takes a swipe at the Government and Boris Johnson in his latest song.

Early on in the track, Vossi Bop, he raps: “Rule number two don't make the promise, if you can't keep the deal then just be honest.

"I could never die I’m Chuck Norris, f*** the government, f*** Boris.”

The 25-year-old rapper has previously waded in on politics, backing Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn in the 2016 election.

He also called Theresa May a “paigon” and asked her “where’s the money for Grenfell?” during a Brit awards performance.

The song is named after a viral dance move, where Twitter user @nlvossi filmed himself leaning forward and bouncing his head then lifting it back while doing the move.

It is Stormzy’s first new song in around two years, after his album Gang Signs & Prayer came out in 2017 and reached number one.

Speaking to Beats 1’s Julia Adenuga about the new song, Stormzy said: “I met Vossi on the internet.

“He went to get Supermalt, he was on his way back, and he was just dancing to this song.

“But it was just so infectious, and such a genuine joyous moment that for whatever reason, I went studio a couple weeks later, and I made this song called ‘Vossi Bop.’ But this is like three years ago, 2016 I made this song. Or 2015.”

Stormzy, Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr., was born in Croydon and grew up in South Norwood.
