The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have announced that their daughter Princess Charlotte will begin attending a London nursery from January.

The royal couple revealed they have chosen the Wilcocks Nursery School, in London, where Charlotte will be a pupil from 2018.

It came as Prince William and Kate shared a new photograph of their family. The image features on Their Royal Highnesses' Christmas card this year.

The photograph was taken earlier this year by Getty's royal photographer Chris Jackson at KensingtonPalace.
