Nicola and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham have asked for wedding gifts to come in the form of donations toward the Ukraine crisis.

The 27-year-old actress, who married Beckham at her father’s $103million Palm Beach property last Saturday, addressed her followers on social media saying she and Brooklyn were “devastated” about the war in Ukraine.

She also revealed her father Nelson had spoken about fundraising at their wedding - a star-studded celebration reportedly worth $3.5 million.

In the Instagram stories post, Peltz Beckham shared a photograph from the day and said: “My dad spoke about this in his wedding speech at our wedding.

She added: “B and I are devastated about what is going on in Ukraine and have asked for donations to CareOrg in lieu of wedding gifts. Anything helps.”

She also shared a link to the fundraising page, which describes the couple’s hopes of helping CARE to “save lives, defeat poverty, and advance social justice.”

Brooklyn similarly shared the post on his Instagram story, kindly asking for donations. The couple’s fundraising efforts came days after they revealed the first pictures taken at their recent lavish nuptials.

Sharing several Vogue snaps on social media, the newlyweds were pictured in high spirits as they celebrated the romantic day with their friends and family.

The couple were joined by several A-listers for the ceremony that included Hollywood actress Eva Longoria, tennis star Serena Williams and Victoria Beckham’s former Spice Girl bandmates Mel B and Mel C.

Following the ceremony, it emerged that David Beckham had gifted his son a $500,000 vintage electric Jaguar as a wedding present. The newlyweds took the car out for a spin around Palm Beach shortly afterwards.

Beckham and his wife Victoria have also been vocal supporters of Ukraine and even reportedly donated £1million to UNICEF’s Ukraine campaign.

At the end of March, Beckham handed over control of his Instagram page to a doctor working in the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine.
