Harrods Christmas hampers have long been the ultimate gift to give and receive in London, but now they're officially making their way stateside.

To celebrate, we invited a few of our favorite Insiders to the newly-opened Bluebird London NYC (another sign of New York's British invasion), where they rummaged through the hampers, snacked on sticky toffee pudding and drank Harrods champagne, all flown in for the occasion.

Harrods was represented by its magazine editor-in-chief Tiffanie Darke, based stateside, and Harrods marketing guru Sarah Blackwell. The Evening Standard's Amira Hashish joined Darke for a speech, with Darke noting (for any Brits in the crowd) the difference between biscuits and chips in America and the UK.

British model Cheyenne Maya Carty took a break from prepping for her first Victoria's Secret Fashion Show to stop by with her boyfriend, influencer Ashton Gohil. Chey told us she plans on enjoying her hamper once the show is over, making for a perfect post-runway treat. Brazilian model and swimwear designer Sofia Resing also joined the party, bringing friend and fellow model Kamila Hansen.

Chey admired the illustrations with her boyfriend, model, DJ and influencer Ashton Gohil.

Man about town and Just Drew designer Andrew Warren was also present, snapping food photos for his 150k followers and picking up a hamper full of chocolates to celebrate the holiday season. Fellow guests were impressed with his winter designs, including a particularly chic leopard faux fur jacket. Warren might be one of Manhattan's social kingpins, but he told us he's particularly fond of London too, where he likes to stay at Claridge's.

Christmas hampers are called baskets stateside.

TV producer and HQ presenter Sharon Carpenter joined in, bringing non-profit Art4AIDS founder Barri Yoko along. An appearance from Brit chef Anna Barnett, who flew over for launch weekend, also made it a thoroughly British affair.
