Rachel Johnson, sister of Boris, and Guto Harri, the Mayor’s ex-aide turned communications director at News international, were among the guests drinking Jacquart champagne at last night’s Evening Standard Power 1000 party at Battersea Power Station.

Art historian and gallerist Philip Mould, suave star of the Antiques Roadshow, revealed that he is having his own portrait painted by Jonathan Yeo, son of former Tory frontbencher Tim Yeo. “This puts life in a different perspective,” said Fiona Bruce’s screen friend. “It’s a fascinating experience.” What we all want is an intimate study of Philip with Fiona.
