Leaving nothing to chance: ex-HBOS chief at Lord's

Ex-HBOS chief Sir James Crosby was at Lord’s yesterday watching the first day of the England v New Zealand Test match. He was wearing a beard which, those sitting near him surmised, was almost certainly some kind of disguise.

Touchingly, he’d brought a packed lunch with him, which he shared with his companion. He seemed very fond of a large piece of cheese which he spent quite some time eating. An austerity measure? Or a precaution against being poisoned by food which he had not prepared personally?
