Sheherazade Goldsmith was interviewed yesterday about Loquet, the jewellery firm she has set up with model Laura Bailey.
Sheherazade, though the ex-wife of Zac Goldsmith, remains friends with Zac’s sister Jemima Khan, so when the Londoner heard an order was placed for two pieces by Khan’s boyfriend, Russell Brand, it was little surprise.
The items were a clenched fist, communist-style, and the West Ham United crest, yet Loquet denies such a request has been made by Brand, who already has a West Ham tattoo.
“I checked with the Loquet studio and there aren’t any bespoke orders for Russell Brand,” says a spokesman. Who else could such odd items be for?
