Ronan Keating and his wife Storm were relieved their son Cooper “was on the mend” after being rushed to hospital.

The singer told fans he was “worried sick” about his little boy, four, and he had shared snaps of his son from his hospital bed on Thursday.

By Friday, the mum was delighted to tell her followers her son was “on the way home” after his stay in Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, in London.

Alongside a photograph of her son cuddling his teddy bear, she thanked the hospital staff for their help and everyone for their prayers.

She wrote: “48hrs we are happy to see the back of. Thank you to everyone for your prayers and well wishes - they worked (!) because our little man is on the mend and on the way home too.

“Huge thanks to all the wonderful staff @chelwestft who were simply amazing. This mummy is exploding with joy and relief to be bringing @cooper_keating home with daddy.”

Mr Keating tied the knot with his second wife in 2015 and the couple have been living their happy ever after; they have two children together, Cooper and Coco.

The singer has three children - Jack, Marie and Ali - with his first wife Yvonne Connolly from their time together; the exes finalised their divorce in 2015.

Last year, Mr Keating described himself as a “hands-on” dad as he took extended parental leave after his youngest Coco was born.

He told The Sun at the time: “The plan was to take a three-week holiday, but it has turned into four months.

“It’s been amazing to be there for every single moment, from waking up in the morning, looking at her, to every bath and bedtime.

“It’s been a very special experience to witness her progress every single day.”
