More floods are on the way to London as the terrible weather shows no signs of letting up.

Severe weather warnings have been issued by the Met Office for the next two days as more heavy, thundery showers hit the capital.

North and west London are expected to see the most rainfall today, and forecaster Dean Hall said it could take until late next week for the weather to clear up.

He added: “Today will be pretty similar to the last few days and yesterday and we’ll start to see some slow moving heavy, thundery showers.

“There will be a risk of some localised flooding, with temperatures reaching highs of 20 to 21 degrees.”

Mr Hall added that the whole of London would be hit by downpours tomorrow throughout the day.

He said: “We’ll get some showers and once again they will become quite heavy and thundery during Friday with a risk of some localised flooding.

“As a result we’ve got some yellow warnings for heavy rain in north and west London for today then across the whole of London for tomorrow for heavy downpours.”

On Tuesday, London was hit with ‘monsoon’ like weather as workers across the capital were forced to take refuge from the biblical rain.
