Man who died following horror collision in Hammersmith named by police

A pedestrian who died after being hit by a car in Hammersmith has been named.

Officers rushed to the Hammersmith Flyover following reports of a collision at 12.20am on Sunday, May 29.

Benjamin Dewhurst, 22, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Despite the best efforts of medical professionals he was pronounced dead on Tuesday, May 31.

The car stopped at the scene. No arrests have been made.

Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating. They would like to speak with anyone who saw the collision or captured it on dash cam.
