West End department stores pride themselves on their glitzy Christmas window displays.

But this year four Mayfair foodie destinations are joining in the festive tradition for charity.

Deer Santa: eye-catching Christmas facade outside Mount Street Deli

The restaurants Scott’s and 34, the private members’ club George and the food store the Mount Street Deli have allowed their windows to be taken over by top designers in collaboration with lifestyle magazines.

Christmas lights: Scott’s goes neon

A judging panel including ES Magazine editor Andrew Barker will choose their favourite today, with the £8,000 prize donated to a charity of the winner’s choosing.

Candy cane: George gets snowed under

Scott’s has been dressed by GQ with a neon installation reading “Fairytale at Christmas” by artist Chris Bracey; 34 has a pair of giant white reindeers by Studio Design UK working with Tatler; Mount Street Deli also has an antler theme dreamed up by Anna Burns Studio and Sunday Times Style while Love magazine and David White have gone for a snowy scene at George.
