Ten fire engines and about 50 firefighters were called to a major fire at a pallet yard this evening.

Huge plumes of thick black smoke were seen rising across north-west London after the outdoor site went up in flames.

The yard reportedly contains "dozens of towers" of wooden pallets as well as a number of lorries.

There were no injuries reported, according to the London Ambulance Service.
