Woman charged over fatal Dartford shooting

A 24-year-old woman has been charged with murder in connection with the death of a man who was found shot in a street.

Michaela Sargeant, of Overy Street, Dartford, Kent, is accused of killing 32-year-old Kevin McKinley who was found in Overy Street at 8pm on Tuesday suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was taken to hospital but later died.

Lewis Wickenden, 25, also of Overy Street, has been charged with possessing a firearm, possessing ammunition and assisting an offender.

A further two men were arrested on February 13 in connection with the incident but were both released without charge.

Both Wickenden and Sargeant are due to appear before Medway Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
