Shocked jurors have been shown disturbing home videos of alleged chemsex serial killer Stephen Port appearing to rape an unconscious man have been played in court.

Some female jurors put their hands over their mouths as six graphic clips were shown at the Old Bailey of Port having sex with the man.

The 41-year-old chef is on trial accused of murdering four young men by giving them fatal doses of date rape drug GHB over a 15-month period.

He is also accused of drugging and raping other young men he met through gay dating websites and lured to his one-bedroom flat in Barking, east London.

Prosecutor Jonathan Rees QC told jurors that 83 home-made sex videos were recovered from Port's mobile phone.

Of those, six clips were of him engaged in sexual activity with a 24-year-old man, who cannot be identified for legal reasons.

The partially-pixelated videos, dated between January and June last year, took around 20 minutes to play on a large screen in court positioned away from the public gallery.

Presenting the evidence, Detective Sergeant Mick McInerney confirmed that it was the same alleged victim in all six videos.

In one video a third, unidentified, party is heard speaking on the tape. Port sniffs from a bottle and whispers to the other person: "You f*** him."

In another clip, Port is joined by another man, who also has sex with the comatose alleged victim on tape. A fourth man can be heard speaking during the recording.

Port, who watched intently from the dock, denies two sample counts of rape relating to two of the videos.

In all, he has pleaded not guilty to 29 offences against a total of 12 men - including four murders, seven rapes, four sex assaults and administering a substance with intent.

The trial was adjourned until Monday, when the 24-year-old alleged rape victim is due to give evidence.
