A man has been charged after a father was stabbed to death in a fight outside a barber’s shop amid London’s knife crime epidemic.

Anthony Allen, 33, of Tillet Close, Wembley, was today charged after record label boss Crispin Siddon was fatally knifed when a row broke out inside the Harlesden salon.

He was arrested on Monday, three days after the attack.

Mr Siddon, 35, staggered along Craven Park Road towards Central Middlesex Hospital but collapsed before he could reach A&E.

He was found by passers-by and pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics on Friday afternoon.

He was described as “charming young man” who doted on his two sons, aged four and seven.

A post-mortem examination found his cause of death to be a stab wound.

Mr Siddon made music under the name Skeng and co-ran label GB Records with fellow rapper Corleone.

In the latest of a fortnight of bloodshed in the capital, a teenage boy was stabbed to death in Walthamstow late on Sunday night.

A 17-year-old boy was rushed to an east London hospital but died there a short while later, Scotland Yard said.

Homicide detectives believe Elijah Dornelly, 17, was ambushed by two attackers who had lain in wait in a side street off Walthamstow High Street.

Detectives investigating the murder have released CCTV of two people they want to trace following the incident.

Demonstrators including families of knife murder victims held banners reading “enough is enough” as they marched on Sunday from Islington to Hackney amid a growing outcry over knife and gun crime.

Mr Siddon died less than 12 hours before a young man, 23, was knifed to death in Uxbridge.

Detective Chief Inspector Matt Bonner of the Homicide and Major Crime Command leading the investigation into Mr Siddon’s death said: "Whilst our investigation is continuing we remain keen to hear from anybody who may have been in or around Cutz Barbers Shop at 2pm and who may have seen a dispute between two men.”

Mr Allen will appear in custody at Hendon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 10 May.
