A disabled six-stone man was dragged up an alleyway by a sick thug who mugged him for his cash and phone while he waited for a bus in Kent.

Bradley Hannan, 29, was punched in the head as he tried to escape his attacker on Luton Road, Chatham.

His sister Daniela Marie Golding appealed for help in tracking down the thief in an heartfelt post on Facebook, which had been shared almost 50,000 times today.

She said he had been volunteering at Medway Hospital when he was targeted at about 3.30pm on Wednesday (November 18).

She said: "So today my beautiful brave brother, all six stone of him, was dragged up an alley on Luton Road and punched in his precious head which has already battled three brain tumours and then mugged him of his wallet with cash in and his phone.

"This was while waiting for a bus on the way home from volunteering all day at the hospital in broad daylight!!

"I am heartbroken because he would not hurt a fly so how anyone can harm him makes me feel sick.

"He's been through so much and doesn't deserve it, to the low-life who did this you might think you're stronger but he's the strongest person I know and I hope karma gets you bad!"

Well-wishers have been donating thousands of pounds to a Go Fund Me page for Mr Hannan after news of his ordeal spread this week.

He told BBC News: "He kept going 'come here come here' and I kept saying 'No'.

"As I tried to walk off that's when he grabbed me from behind and pinned me down. He took my wallet out of my back pocket and hit me round the head and took my phone out of my front pocket.

"I'm glad he didn't do worse."

A spokesman for Kent Police confirmed officers were investigating the attack.

They are hunting for a tanned man, aged between 20 and 30, with short black hair and of medium build.

He was about 5' 6" and was wearing a black jacket with dark blue jeans at the time of the assault.

Anyone with information can contact police on 101.
